Jamie Miller Joins the PayPal Team as CFO and EVP

PayPal Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: PYPL) announced the appointment of Jamie Miller as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PayPal, effective from November 6, 2023. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing PayPal’s financial strategies and leading the global finance organization, which includes areas such as planning, treasury, tax, reporting, and investor relations. Jamie Miller will succeed Gabrielle Rabinovitch, who is currently serving as the acting CFO.

Miller’s most recent role was as the Global CFO of EY, where she played a crucial role in leading the separation and IPO of its strategy, tax, and consulting business. From June 2021 to January 2023, she served as CFO of Cargill, overseeing all financial activities of the company. Additionally, in April 2022, she took on corporate strategy and business development responsibilities.

Prior to her role at Cargill, Miller spent 12 years at General Electric, culminating in her position as Senior Vice President and CFO of General Electric from October 2017 to February 2020. During her tenure at GE, she led efforts to stabilize and deleverage the company during a significant financial turnaround, executed a multi-faceted strategy to shrink and re-capitalize GE Capital, and oversaw a substantial corporate transformation. Earlier in her career, Miller held various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President, Controller, and Investor Relations at Anthem, Inc., and she worked as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She holds a B.S. in accounting from Miami University and serves on the board of directors of Qualcomm.
