Geert Peeters Named CFO of Ontex

Ontex has announced the appointment of Geert Peeters as Chief Financial Officer, effective from December 1, 2023.

Until recently, Peeters held the position of Group CFO at Greenyard. He has amassed significant experience through various finance director roles at organizations like Metallo Group (currently known as Aurubis) and has also worked in management consultancies, including PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Gustavo Calvo Paz, the CEO of Ontex, expressed his enthusiasm for this appointment, stating, “I’m delighted to welcome Geert Peeters as our chief financial officer. He brings relevant experience in the domains of business transformation in a retail environment and operational and cash efficiency.
