Treatt is in search of CEO as Daemmon Reeve Retires
Treatt PLC, a manufacturer and supplier of extracts and ingredients for the beverage, flavor, and fragrance industries, has announced the retirement of its Chief Executive Officer, Daemmon Reeve. Reeve will also step down from his role as a director of the company.
Treatt stated that it regularly reviews its succession planning and has initiated the process of appointing a new CEO. In the interim, Chief Financial Officer Ryan Govender will assume the role of interim CEO starting on January 1.
Reeve has been with Treatt for 32 years, with the last 11 years serving as CEO. He will step down immediately from the role of CEO and as a director, with his departure effective on December 31.
Vijay Thakrar, the Chair of Treatt, commented, “Daemmon has had a long and distinguished career at Treatt, overseeing a significant change in the company’s fortunes under his leadership. With the move into our new facility in Skyliner Way completed, the expansion in recent years of our US site, and the recent establishment of our China subsidiary, the business is well positioned for growth and to capitalize on its strong market position.”
