Nguyen Phuong Anh Assumes the role of CEO at Generali Vietnam

Generali Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd. has officially announced the appointment of Nguyen Phuong Anh as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 16.

Before taking on this role, Anh held several high-level positions within the life insurance and banking sectors, working across various distribution channels such as retail banking, digital commerce, marketing, distribution training, and partnership distribution, including bancassurance and corporate agency.

The company highlights Anh’s extensive technical and managerial expertise, along with her knowledge of market insights. Her strong leadership skills and customer-centric approach make her a fitting leader for Generali Vietnam as it pursues a sustainable growth strategy and strives to become a long-term partner to its customers.

Jaime Anchustegui Melgarejo, CEO of Generali International, expressed satisfaction with Anh’s appointment and her potential to further expand the company’s plans and presence in Vietnam. He emphasized the significance of Asia as a critical region for the group’s profitable growth in the coming years and their commitment to investing in their team to strengthen their leadership in line with the Lifetime Partner 24 strategy.

Rob Leonardi, CEO of Generali International Asia, also extended his congratulations to Anh. He noted that her extensive experience and track record in Asia align perfectly with the growth plans of their business in Vietnam.
