Jaclyn Leibl-Cote Becomes the First Female CEO of Collette Tours Succeeding Dan Sullivan
Global tour operator Collette has announced the appointment of Jaclyn Leibl-Cote as the new Chief Executive Officer. She assumes this role, becoming the fourth CEO in the company’s 106-year history and, notably, the first woman to hold this position.
In her new capacity, Leibl-Cote will lead both Collette’s Executive and Strategic Leadership Teams, responsible for steering the company’s strategic direction and overseeing day-to-day operations.
During her tenure, Leibl-Cote achieved several milestones, such as enhancing product line differentiation, spearheading an innovative customer experience platform, expanding the company’s leadership team, shaping a data-driven strategy, and fostering a culture grounded in values.
The current CEO, Dan Sullivan, Jr., made this announcement during a companywide meeting and expressed his enthusiasm for the leadership transition and the promising future of the company. In his new role, Sullivan, Jr. will serve as the Executive Chairman, starting immediately, where he will provide guidance and counsel to Leibl-Cote and the Executive Team concerning the company’s overall direction and long-term strategy.
Sullivan, Jr. emphasized that this transition represents the culmination of a thorough succession planning process designed to ensure leadership continuity and position Collette for sustained growth. He highlighted Leibl-Cote’s contributions, noting that she has been with the company since 2005, serving in various roles, including tour guide, client care agent, product designer and strategist, head of marketing, and most recently as President and Chief Customer Experience Officer.
