Current Rathbones CFO Jennifer Mathias Becomes Chief of Staff

Rathbones has announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Jennifer Mathias, will be stepping down from her role at the end of this year to take on the position of Group Chief of Staff. Her primary responsibility in this new role will be to facilitate the integration of Investec Wealth & Investment Limited (IW&I).

The board has already made arrangements for her successor, pending regulatory approval, and Iain Hooley has been selected to fill the role. Hooley brings extensive experience to the position, having served as the Finance Director of IW&I UK for over a decade. In February of this year, he was appointed as the CEO of IW&I UK, and these responsibilities will continue during the integration process.

To ensure a seamless transition, Jennifer and Iain will collaborate closely during the interim period. Jennifer will also maintain her position as a member of Rathbones’ Group Executive Committee in her new capacity.
