The current CFO of Coyote Logistics Sandeep Pisipati Replaces Jonathan Sisler in the role of CEO

Jonathan Sisler, who had a longstanding tenure with the digital brokerage firm Coyote Logistics, dating back to 2008 and had been serving as CEO since July 2018, is stepping down from his role. His successor is Sandeep Pisipati, the current Chief Financial Officer of Coyote.

In the official news release issued by Coyote, it was stated that Sisler had chosen to explore new opportunities outside the company. The release emphasized Pisipati’s promotion to the role of CEO, a development that took center stage in the announcement.

The release quoted Coyote as saying, “Sandeep has been with Coyote for five years and has been an integral leader with a track record of delivering strong business results through a unique approach to corporate strategy, financial management, and people leadership.”

Sisler, in his statement, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead the business and praised the remarkable achievements made during his tenure. He described his decision to step down as a difficult but necessary one and expressed confidence in Sandeep Pisipati’s well-rounded approach and vision for guiding the company into a new and exciting phase.

Coyote, a subsidiary of UPS (NYSE: UPS), has undergone multiple rounds of layoffs this year, including one as recent as September 1. The company had to reduce its workforce by an undisclosed number of employees. In February, approximately 200 workers were laid off, followed by more layoffs in May.

Pisipati, in the news release, highlighted Coyote’s strong position in the industry, its talented workforce, its partnership with UPS, and its network of shippers and carriers. He expressed his passion for the business and his vision for the future, offering sincere thanks to Jonathan Sisler for his contributions and leadership.

Before joining Coyote, Sandeep Pisipati held the position of Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Stericycle (NASDAQ: SRCL), a healthcare services provider.

Bill Seward, President of UPS Supply Chain Solutions, which includes Coyote, also shared his thoughts in the release, expressing his confidence in Sandeep Pisipati’s strategic vision and his anticipation of working closely with him and the entire Coyote leadership team.
