Brown Shipley Appoints Andrew Kyle in the role of CFO
Andrew Kyle has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, pending regulatory approval. Kyle will take on the role of CFO designate at Brown Shipley in October 2023, working alongside the current CFO, Andrew Curran. Curran is set to retire in March 2024, concluding his more than 20-year tenure with the UK private bank.
As a member of the Brown Shipley executive committee led by CEO Calum Brewster, Kyle will bring over two decades of financial experience to the firm. Brown Shipley, established in 1810, operates in eight locations across the UK. In his capacity as a member of the group CFO leadership team, Kyle will collaborate closely with the senior leadership of both Brown Shipley and its parent company, Quintet Private Bank, headquartered in Luxembourg.
Kyle is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of service within the NatWest Group and its predecessors. From 2019 until early this year, he served as the Finance Director at Coutts. He possesses extensive expertise in regulatory matters, organizational leadership, and balance sheet optimization. Additionally, he holds a BSc in Accounting & Finance from the University of Salford and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Kyle also holds a diploma in Treasury Management.
