John Doyle Succeeds Current CFO of Newberry Hospital following his Retirement

John Snow, Chief Executive Officer of Newberry Hospital, has officially announced that John Doyle will be taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Newberry Hospital. Doyle is set to join the hospital team on September 19, 2023, and brings with him a wealth of experience, with over 25 years of progressively advancing administrative and executive roles. Doyle’s appointment follows the retirement announcement of the outgoing CFO, Bob Hetrick, in 2023.

Before his new role, John Doyle served as the CFO of HighPoint Health, a division encompassing four hospitals in Middle Tennessee. Doyle’s extensive background includes leadership positions in healthcare, ranging from small to large facilities, spanning acute and psychiatric care.

While originally hailing from Ohio, Doyle has spent the majority of his adult life in the southeastern United States, primarily between Tennessee and South Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree with an accounting emphasis from East Tennessee State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Doyle is the proud father of three adult children, with two working in the nursing field and one following in his footsteps in accounting. He enjoys watching his daughter participate in cross country and track at Austin Peay in Clarksville, Tennessee.
