Ali Aldamanhori Assumes the role of CEO at HungerStation
HungerStation has announced the appointment of Ali Aldamanhori as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective from September 30th. Aldamanhori has served as the Chief Operating Officer of the company for nearly two years. Prior to this role, he managed logistics and quick commerce in the MENA region for HungerStation’s parent company, Delivery Hero, since 2019.
This announcement comes following the departure of Assad Numan, HungerStation’s former CEO, after a three-year tenure. Under Numan’s leadership, in collaboration with the management team, the company achieved a 2.5x growth and maintained its position as the leading delivery service in Saudi Arabia. Numan is stepping down to explore new opportunities.
Pieter-Jan van Depitte, the COO of Delivery Hero, expressed gratitude for Assad’s leadership, which propelled HungerStation to great heights, establishing it as a center of innovation and excellence in Saudi Arabia’s startup landscape. The company wishes Assad well in his future endeavors and is now excited to welcome Ali. Ali’s operational and commercial expertise, coupled with his deep local knowledge, will be instrumental in HungerStation’s next phase of growth. The company is committed to investing further in HungerStation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with Ali as its leader.
Ali Aldamanhori’s close association with HungerStation’s parent company, Delivery Hero, opens up opportunities for enhanced collaboration within the Delivery Hero Group, a global network encompassing more than a dozen restaurant delivery and quick commerce brands. This closer partnership will facilitate knowledge sharing and the development of innovative solutions, collectively working towards setting the gold standard for local delivery services worldwide.
