Schneider National takes Darrell Campbell from JM Family to Become EVP and CFO
Schneider National has officially appointed Darrell Campbell as its next Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the prominent trucking company revealed in an announcement on Wednesday.
Campbell’s most recent role was as the Group Vice President of Strategy and Finance at JM Family Enterprises, an automotive services company based in Florida.
He will assume his new responsibilities at Schneider on September 30th. In his new role, Campbell will take over the financial leadership from Steve Bruffett, who announced his retirement in May. Bruffett will continue to assist with the transition until the end of the year, according to the company’s statement.
Campbell’s role as CFO at Schneider will encompass overseeing the company’s financial strategies, planning, reporting, and all finance operations, including investor relations. During his tenure at JM Family Enterprises, Campbell was responsible for overseeing enterprise strategy, strategic planning, treasury, and tax activities.
Campbell’s diverse experiences also include his previous position as the CFO of Carnival Cruise Line and his role as the Corporate Treasurer for Carnival Corp. He has also served as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led financial statement and internal control audits across various industries.
