Jan Paul Succeeds Mike Eklund at Shutterfly

Shutterfly has announced the appointment of Jan Paul Teuwen as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 11, 2023. Jan Paul will succeed Mike Eklund, who is stepping down from the CFO role to explore new opportunities.

Shutterfly and its family of brands constitute a leading e-commerce entity specializing in personalized products and custom designs.

Sally Pofcher, CEO of Shutterfly, expressed enthusiasm for this development. Jan Paul Teuwen also shared his excitement about joining Shutterfly, known for its inspiring brands and strong consumer value proposition.

Jan Paul Teuwen’s previous role was as Chief Financial Officer at Lumileds, a global lighting solutions company, where he oversaw finance, investor relations, global IT operations, and other functions. Prior to his tenure at Lumileds, Jan Paul spent a decade at Philips, a global technology company, holding controller and FP&A positions within various business areas, including R&D, consumer products, retail, and telecommunications. These areas had global revenues of up to $2 billion and complex research and development budgets of $200 million.

In his new role, Jan Paul will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Shutterfly’s financial operations, including controllership, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, audit, and investor relations.
