Starr International Insurance for Singapore comes with a new CEO
Starr Insurance has officially named Sean Chen as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Starr International Insurance for Singapore, effective from August 28th. Chen is a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of experience in underwriting and client relations, having worked on both the insurance carrier and broker sides of the industry.
Chen has been an integral part of Starr’s global team for 14 years, most recently holding the position of Starr’s regional manager for Korea, Taiwan, and Japan, specializing in property, energy, and construction. Sean’s advancement underscores Starr’s strength as a place where people can thrive along with the company.”
Sean Chen takes over as CEO of Starr Singapore, succeeding Phil Finley. Phil Finley has recently taken on the role of CEO at Starr International Insurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, where he will oversee a new venture for Starr while continuing to lead Starr’s Asia operations as the President of the Asia Pacific Region.
