Lampsa Hellenic Hotels: History, Revenues, Αnd Τhe Bonus Initiative of €1.3 Million

Grande Bretagne Hotel

Lampsa SA is a Greek company that owns several luxurious hotels in Athens. The historical hotels Grande Bretagne, King George, the new Athens Capital, Hyatt Regency, and Mercure Excelsior in Belgrade. The first four are located in Athens. These hotels are the most known in the Greek capital, and their buildings are of significant historical value. Especially, Grande Bretagne hosts, from time to time, some of the most known international political or artistic figures on the planet. Even the building, inside and outside, stands out in the center of Athens, giving the area some of its glitz and glamour. Their management has been entrusted to the largest international hotel chains (Marriott, Hyatt, and Accor).

According to the financial statements for 2022, the turnover of the Group and the Company amounted to €94,081K and €66,120K, respectively, recording a proportional increase of 42.3% for the Group and 109.01% for the company compared to the previous year.

The total assets for the Group reached €264.288K in 2022, and for the company, €206.874K in the same year. The total sales for the Group in the twelve months of 2022 reached €94.081K, and for the company reached €66.120K. EBITDA from continuing operations for the Group reached €29.104K for the Group and €22.099K for the company. Lastly, EBITDA from non-continuing operations reached €2.523K for the Group and €2.523K for the company.

It is worth noting that for the second year in a row, the Company of Greek Hotels LAMPSA S.A. will proceed with an extraordinary monetary reward of €1.3 million to all employees of the Grande Bretagne, King George, and Athens Capital Hotel. Specifically, each employee of the three central hotels in Athens will receive €1,000. This money is a reward for the work they offer and their effort to ensure that the company provides high-quality hosting services.

Analyzing the loan liabilities of the Group and the Company, it is worth mentioning that during the twelve months of 2022, there weren’t any long-term bank loan liabilities either for the Group or the company. On the other hand, the bond loans in 2022 reached €86.899K for the Group and €82.299K for the company. The truth is that these numbers were lower than the sums registered in 2021.

All the hotels owned by Lampsa SA have been awarded many times by international organizations and institutions, especially for the “Grande Bretagne” and the “King George” Hotels, which rank among the top hotels in their class in Europe. A visit to these two hotels will convince you of the luxury and the high quality of the services provided.

A total of nine members comprise the company’s present Board of Directors, which has been elected for a three-year term that ends on July 29, 2024. The first three positions belong to Chloe Laskaridis, Chairman of the B.O.D., Executive Member; Anastasios Homenidis, MD/Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member; and Nikolaos Nanopoulos, Vice-Chairman of the B.O.D., Independent, and Non-Executive Member.
