Top 5 Places To Visit In Canada

The second-largest country worldwide is Canada. This place has infinite, beautiful landscapes and unique locations to explore. In Western Canada, the best attractions to dominate are the Rocky Mountains and the cities of Vancouver, Victoria, and Calgary. Some of the most popular destinations in Central Canada are Niagara Falls, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City.

Also, in the Maritime provinces of Canada to the East, it is worth visiting Gros Morne National Park as well as the cities of Halifax and St. John, which provide their own unique character. Canada’s North is just as impressive with the remote beauty of its places like Nahanni National Park and the towns of Churchill, Whitehorse, and Yellowknife. But because there are many attractions in Canada, I will only present five of the most beautiful places worth visiting.

  1. Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is the best natural attraction in Canada. It is about an hour’s drive from Toronto, along the American border. You’ll be able to enjoy a walk down Niagara’s Clifton Hill leading to the canyon and waterfalls, and be amazed by the beauty of the running waters.

  2. Toronto CN Tower

The CN Tower of Toronto is on the shores of Lake Ontario. The tower is one of Canada’s most famous landmarks and is 1.800 feet high. When you reach the top, remember to visit the 360 revolving restaurant and enjoy a meal with city and lake views. Enjoy the view from the glass floor of the tower. In any case, the tower is to have a panoramic view of the area.

  3. Old Quebec (Vieux-Quebec)

This is perhaps Canada’s most precious historical gem and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This district contains the most historic buildings in the city. The Lower Town is an incredible site to visit, where you can see the House of the excellent Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. Once you are at the Upper Town, you can go to the Acropolis, The Plains of Abraham, The Place d’Armes, and the Parque Historique de l’Artillerie. Make sure you don’t forget to pay a visit to any of them.

  4. Old Montreal

Old Montreal, with its beautiful historic buildings, is a place to go shopping, have good food, and admire its historical sights. Some of the buildings you can visit in Old Montreal are rue Bonsecours, the landmark Marché Bonsecours, the interior of the beautiful Notre Dame de Paris, Place Jacques-Cartier, and the 1870 town hall; all of them provide an amazing variety to the tourists and travelers as well as the locals who love to have them in their own place.

  5. Gros Morne National Park

Gros Morne National Park is the most remote of Canada’s most popular national parks, but it is definitely worth discovering the mountains and fjords. The park has steep rock walls, waterfalls, and interesting rock formations carved by glacier-fed waters. Now you have the opportunity to take a boat tour to enjoy the scenery and go hiking and kayaking.

There are many options in Canada. Mostly you can visit countless attractions in each of its cities. Also, outside cities, there are plenty of parks, lakes, and waterfalls where you can visit, such as Jasper National Park, Athabasca Falls in the province of Alberta, Moraine Lake, and Banff National Park in Western Canada. Regardless of where you go, you will definitely have a great time.
