Giving Back is as Important As My Business
Every success story is different. In many of those stories, however, there are many similar traits. These include traits such as hard work and perseverance. Those are also the kind of characteristics that have helped me become the person I am today.
From my work ethic and loyalty, to my collegiate endeavors at Portland State University and my earliest days at Pacific Office Automation, have defined me as a person. Although those are noble accolades, what separates me, is what makes my story different from others.
A Rise to Leadership
It didn’t take very long to become who I am today, President of Pacific Office Automation. During my rise through the ranks, though, I didn’t step on anyone to get there. In fact, one of my distinguishing characteristics is having the willingness to help anyone in need and giving back where I can.
Sharing with other, ebing kind and having a giving spirit hasn’t changed from day one. Competitors may know me as the President of Pacific Office, a standard bearer in the industry. My team and family, however, know me on a much more personal basis and arguably as a more kind and gentle soul always eager to help.
Giving Back
The history books will show how a company grew by leaps and bounds under leadership and the data will reflect a successful three-decade tenure behind me but my legacy, however, will likely be as much about giving back than all else.
Stopping everything and going out of my way to help coworkers have become commonplace and my work for charitable causes is no less impressive. Many people have climbed the ladder to success but few remember to give back.
With that in mind, having a caring nature, family and a strong team is what defines a successful life.
