The United States ranks 35th in child prosperity, 2020 rankings

The United States was ranked as the 35th best country in the world for a child to be born in, according to the CEOWORLD magazine’s child prosperity index 2020. The child prosperity index ranked 180 countries on two measures of child prosperity: “education & wellbeing” and “nutrition & health”. The United Kingdom came in at No. 12 on the child prosperity index, while South Korea, Norway, and Japan ranked in the top three respectively. Meanwhile, Chad, the Central African Republic, and Niger ranked last respectively.
