The Best Hotels In Isle of Wight For Business Travelers, 2020

Luxury Hotel

The second most populated island in England, Isle of Wight, is quite a charmer among tourists. What makes a perfect tourist destination? I believe it should be such a place that keeps you occupied throughout your stay by offering you a variety of activities to indulge in. That is exactly what the Isle of Wight is. I can count multiple reasons why the Isle of Wight should be your next destination. From sailing, sandy beaches of Shanklin and Ryde to a fine history of royalty and exciting music festivals, the experience here would be engrossing and absolutely fun. And, you know what, cozy accommodation will be a cherry on the top of an already delicious cake.

The Isle of Wight brims with many fantastic hotels reeking of local aura and magic and offering world-class hospitality. Whether you are running tight on budget or have a good amount to spend away on luxury, a perfect fit is going to be here. All you need to do is to keep an eye on the hotels I am going to mention in this article. These hotels are highly rated and known for excellent services. So, let us check them out.

  1. The Seaview Hotel
Address: High St, Seaview PO34 5EX, United Kingdom
The Seaview Hotel was originally constructed in 1901 but was later refurbished to operate as what it does now. All the rooms are standard-sized and come with balconies offering bewitching views of the sea. The furniture is high-quality and very comfortable to the body. In addition, you get plush linen, a pleasant color scheme and pictures of the island on the walls. Bathrooms are spacious and come with toiletries. Under the capable supervision of Chef Tom Bull, the food served is lip-smacking; make sure you try out the crab risotto, because it is just too good. Other in-house features include complimentary internet connectivity, e-bikes, and on-request sailing.
  2. The Boathouse
Address: 2 Springvale Rd, Seaview PO34 5AW, United Kingdom
If you are coming to the Isle of Wight, make sure you get a seafront property to stay because you would not want to miss out on the amazing views of the sea. One seafront property I suggest is The Boathouse, which basically is an inn with really elegant rooms. The rooms are painted in an attractive white and blue combo and come with white-washed furniture and blue and white linen. The lighting is extremely good and the headboards are comfortable to rest your head on. Seafood is the star of the dining facility here, but if you are a Vegan, there are options for you too. Besides a picturesque sea view, there is complimentary internet, laundry service and bar.
  3. Haven Hall
Address: 5 Howard Rd, Shanklin PO37 6HD, United Kingdom
Just 10 minutes off the busy Shanklin’s station, Haven Hall is quite a convenient property and a great place to stay and enjoy the luxuries of the Isle of Wight. This Edwardian property has undergone a massive makeover and houses a very chic interior and a warm and friendly atmosphere. A tennis court and a swimming pool are available to beat boredom. But, a good hotel is much more than these and must focus on two very important aspects: rooms and food. Rooms, firstly, are quite commodious and come with coffee makers, speakers, and large windows for outside views. The bathrooms are ultra-cozy and come with tubs. There are also apartments and a penthouse with more services. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant, though breakfast is served.

    Luxury Hotel

  4. The Little Gloster
Address: 31 Marsh Rd, Cowes PO31 8JQ, United Kingdom
The Little Gloster is not technically a hotel; it is a restaurant with a handful of rooms to offer. The restaurant is positioned in a lively setting, with the sea being your companion throughout. We will talk about the food first, after all, the place is all about that. The food is very good and has a spectacular take on local cuisine. Popular dishes include crab with corn and fries. Barbecue Fridays are special and should not be missed. About rooms, there are only 3 of them each of which comes with super-good furniture, large mirrors, and coffee makers. Some rooms even come with a private garden terrace. Free Internet connectivity is offered here.
  5. The Wight Mouse Inn
Address: Church Pl, Chale, Ventnor PO38 2HA, United Kingdom
In the peaceful village of Chale, The Wight Mouse Inn is a warm and sincerely-taken-car-of retreat and something which can make your vacation even better. The Wight Mouse Inn has a very private yet stylish character. In total, there are 10 rooms all of which are decked out in bright colors, plush white fabrics, soft furnishings and comfortable furniture. Bathrooms are spacious but have not been supplied with toiletries. The dining facility is quite like that of a pub, with daily specials taking away the limelight. Make sure you have had a bite of its pies, which are homemade and extremely tasty. A well-stocked bar will also be at your service.
  6. Koala Cottage
Address: Church Hollow, Godshill, Ventnor PO38 3DR, United Kingdom
Godshill is a famous village on the Isle of Wight, and along its rather quiet street is Koala Cottage, which is a homely accommodation facility. It is a small Bed & Breakfast (B&B) facility constructed in 2007 and has a very lavish character to it. There are 3 suites named Sapphire, Gold and Ruby and all of which come with a chic color scheme, chandeliers, laced curtains, and large bathrooms. In addition, you get a patio with the necessary sitting arrangement. Since it is a B&B, you are only served with breakfast, which is completely English and is made of fresh ingredients. Internet connectivity is available.

    Luxury Hotel

  7. The George Hotel & Restaurant
Address: Quay St, Yarmouth PO41 0PE, United Kingdom
Once a 17th-century townhouse, this stylish property is fundamentally luxurious and instantly pulls into its world of utter satisfaction. Every room in this property has been creatively designed to incorporate modern elements such as under-floor heating, spacious bathrooms with showers, and upscale fabrics. Outside views are available from any room you choose. A highly delectable spread of local cuisine is available at the brasserie quite popular for its A-class breakfast comprising fresh juice, cheese, ham, and granola among others. Also, Free Wi-Fi!
  8. Tom’s Eco Lodge
Addres: Tom’s Eco Lodge, Tapnell Farm, Newport Road, Yarmouth PO41 0YJ, United Kingdom
Amid a woodland stands Tom’s Eco Lodge which emulates a perfect countryside environment and couples it with high-class hospitality. There are limited but excellent services provided on the premises. The onsite dining facility called The Cow offers a range of delicious foods such as lamb rump, burgers, fish and chips, and whatnot. Guests have mentioned that there is always something new to explore at the Cow. Rooms, also, are equally good and enjoyable. Each of the rooms is fitted with modern furnishings, snuggly pillows, little kitchenettes, and bathrooms with showers. Internet connection is provided throughout the property.
  9. The Unison Inn
Address: Watch House Lane, Cowes PO31 7QH, United Kingdom
Starting with location, The Unison Inn overlooks the brilliant sea while connecting you to the hustle-bustle of the West Cowes. All the rooms here are very elegant and full of character and come with captivating furnishings such as chandeliers and plush fabrics. Food is good and is very much like what is served in pubs. However, whether it burgers or chicken meals, the quality is pleasant and will leave you satisfied. But, since you are so well-located, you should explore nearby eateries for more options.
  10. The Wheatsheaf Hotel
Address: 16 St Thomas’ Square, Newport PO30 1SG, United Kingdom
With all the major shops at your doorstep, The Wheatsheaf Hotel steals the show with its on-point location. But, this is not the only thing that makes this place a good choice for tourists. The rustic appearance accentuated by the use of high-end furnishings gives it a very appealing vibe. Scandinavian minimalism pervades throughout the design of the rooms. All of them come with large beds, neutral color schemes, television, branded toiletries and coffee makers. Street food is given a new lease of life with the imagination of the chefs, Nick Foster and Ryan Burr, who provide you with inexpensive but super-satisfying meals. There are also free internet connectivity and laundry service offered.
