These Are The Most Transformative Colleges In The United States For 2019

It’s not surprising that Manhattan College has been recognized as the most transformative college in the United States for 2019, according to Money magazine, while Mount Saint Mary’s University and MCPHS University placed second and third, respectively.

The 2019 rankings placed the University of California-Riverside in fourth ahead of California State University-Stanislaus into fifth; while Worcester Polytechnic Institute ranked sixth, and California State University-Northridge seventh.

Overall, among the top ten most transformative colleges in the United States for 2019, the eighth, ninth, and tenth positions are held by San Jose State University, California State University-Channel Islands, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Most Transformative Colleges list ranked institutions based on their “value add” scores. The “value add” indicator signifies when an institution’s graduates perform better than would be expected based on their academic and economic backgrounds. Factors include graduation rates, earnings, and student loan repayment.
