New York has been named the world’s most exciting city for 2019, according to a survey released by London-based Time Out magazine. Based on surveys of more than 34,000 city-dwellers in 48 different cities worldwide, the 2019 rankings also indicated that “The Big Apple” was also city most people want to visit this year.

At No. 3 on the list, Chicago (No. 3) was one place behind the Australian city of Melbourne (No. 2) and one above London (No. 4) in the United Kingdom. In 5th place is the City of Angeles, better known as Los Angeles, followed by our beloved Montreal in Canada.
