With a height of 541 meters, New York’s One World Trade Center is currently the tallest skyscraper in the United States. New York City scored particularly well, accounting for four skyscrapers out of the top ten and seven out of the top 17.

A new era of American skyscrapers: After almost a two-decade lull in skyscraper construction, the US is embracing taller buildings again. Last year alone, the United States added 14 new skyscrapers into the mix. In the past decade, New York City has added 25 new skyscrapers to its iconic skyline.
Between now and 2022, 44 skyscraper projects are expected to be completed in the US, with the vast majority being built in New York City.
