No Canadian University In Top 20: Canada’s 26 Best Academic Institutions For 2019

Canadian institutions like the University of Toronto, McGill, and British Columbia offer best education in the country, but they still have a long way to go when compared to some of their global peers. No Canadian university was able to secure a place in the top 20 best universities in the world ranking for 2019 by QS World University Rankings.

The University of Toronto has been ranked the number one university in Canada and 28th internationally. McGill University also made the higher education grade: McGill University placed second in the nation and 33rd internationally. The University of British Columbia ranked 47th worldwide.

Other Canadian universities included in the top 200 list are the University of Alberta, which was ranked 109, McMaster University (146), the Université de Montréal (149), and University of Waterloo (163). The University of Western Ontario was ranked 214, while the University of Calgary was able to secure 229th place.
