Here Are The World’s Top 20 Highest-Paid Football (Soccer) Players, 2017: Ronaldo And Messi Tops

Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo, has once again topped the 2017 list of the highest paid football (soccer) players across the globe, according to the annual list compiled by Forbes Magazine. Interestingly, it marks the 4th straight year Ronaldo tops the list.

With an earning of $80 million Barcelona striker Lionel Messi regained 2nd spot on the list of the top 20 highest-paid football players for 2017, followed by Neymar Jr ($37 million), Gareth Bale ($34 million), and Zlatan Ibrahimovic ($27 million).

It is also worth noting that 10 of the top 20 highest-paid football players came from just 3 clubs: Manchester United, FC Barcelona, and Real Madrid.
