These Are The Most-Attended Universities Among CEOs – It’s Not UC Berkeley, MIT, Or Harvard

While prestigious academic institutions like UC Berkeley, Wharton, Harvard remain popular among future executives. Stanford University was the most-attended academic institution in the United States for graduating CEOs, according David Egan at the LinkedIn.

Some of Stanford University’s most notable alumni include Capital One CEO Richard Fairbank; Netflix CEO Reed Hastings; LinkedIn’s Reid Hoffman; and Wipro Technologies CEO Azim Premji; as well as Google co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page.

Stanford University is ranked the No. 1 best university in the world by CEOWORLD magazine and No. 5 best university in America by U.S. News for its robust undergraduate and graduate programs.

LinkedIn looked at the profiles of over 12,000 CEOs from 20 countries, tracked where they had gotten their undergraduate and/or graduate degrees and then compiled a list of the most-attended institutions.
