These Are The World’s 50 Most Expensive Rental Cities, 2017

It would come as no surprise to see the top two most expensive cities to rent across the world are in the United States – San Francisco and the New York City, according to the 2017 rental index survey.

Those looking to rent real estate in San Francisco can expect an average price per square foot of about £3.98.

The survey compared the cost of renting across 120 cities and recorded San Francisco as the world’s most expensive city to be a tenant.

Hong Kong ranked as the 3rd most expensive city for rent in the world, followed by Dubai, Singapore, Washington DC, and Geneva.The top 10 were completed by Sydney, Zurich, and Los Angeles.
