Ogilvy Promotes Kunal Jeswani to CEO at ASEAN Region
Ogilvy has announced the promotion of Kunal Jeswani to Chief Executive Officer of Ogilvy ASEAN, a move aligned with Ogilvy APAC’s strategy to drive growth in this key sub-region. In his new role, Jeswani will focus on integrating resources across ASEAN markets, capitalizing on their individual strengths to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients. This approach is expected to combine local expertise with the power of Ogilvy’s regional network, ensuring transformative and seamlessly executed creative solutions.
Kent Wertime and Chris Reitermann, Co-CEOs of Ogilvy APAC, will continue to oversee the broader Asia-Pacific region, working closely with leadership teams to drive the agency’s expansion and success.
Wertime highlighted Jeswani’s track record in India, Singapore, and Malaysia, emphasizing his ability to foster creative excellence. He noted that Jeswani’s promotion reflects both recognition of his contributions and confidence in his capacity to shape Ogilvy’s future in the dynamic ASEAN region.
Jeswani expressed enthusiasm about leading Ogilvy’s well-established Southeast Asian network, emphasizing the commitment of its talent across various capabilities to delivering creative work that drives growth and impact. He conveyed excitement about collaborating with leaders across the region to produce groundbreaking work.
Under Jeswani’s leadership, Ogilvy Singapore and Malaysia have achieved notable business and creative milestones. In 2024, the Cannes Lions Creativity Report ranked Ogilvy Singapore as the top creative agency in Asia. More recently, at the 2025 Singapore Creative Circle Awards, Ogilvy Singapore was named Creative Agency of the Year, further cementing its reputation as a creative powerhouse in Singapore and across Asia.
Jeswani, who joined Ogilvy in 2005, has over two decades of experience in the communications industry. He has led impactful campaigns across multiple sectors, including consumer goods, beverages, telecommunications, automotive, banking and financial services, and travel and tourism. His portfolio also includes the launch of a globally successful sports league and two national election campaigns in the world’s largest democracy.
Beyond his professional work, Jeswani is passionate about scuba diving, origami, and teaching. He actively contributes to the industry through his roles with the AAMS Executive Committee in Singapore and the Governing Council of MICA.
With this leadership transition, Ogilvy aims to strengthen its creative and strategic impact across the ASEAN region, further reinforcing its position as a leader in the communications industry.
