Leadership Reimagined: AISATS Welcomes Back Industry Veteran as CEO
Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS), a prominent player in airport management, recently named Ramanathan Rajamani as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With over 20 years of experience under his belt, Rajamani is poised to drive innovation and operational efficiency at AISATS. Notably, this isn’t his first time at the helm—he previously led the company from 2018 to 2021.
Rajamani’s professional journey began in 2001 as an engineer at the Defence Science and Technology Agency, where he was instrumental in maintaining the combat readiness of the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) fighter fleet. By 2006, he had shifted to Indeco Engineers, managing large-scale projects for both commercial and military operations.
Armed with a Bachelor’s in Engineering and a Master’s in Logistics from the National University of Singapore, Rajamani further bolstered his credentials with an Executive MBA from Nanyang Technological University and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Commenting on his appointment, Rajamani expressed enthusiasm about returning to AISATS, emphasizing the vast opportunities in India’s aviation and ground services sectors. He conveyed his commitment to steering the company toward delivering cutting-edge solutions, operational excellence, and unparalleled service quality for clients and partners alike.
