LVMH Reshuffles Leadership in Watch Division
LVMH has announced significant changes in its watch division leadership. Julien Tornare, currently the head of TAG Heuer, will take over as CEO of Hublot, a brand known for its bold designs and high-profile collaborations with athletes and artists like Usain Bolt, Kylian Mbappé, and Daniel Arsham. Ricardo Guadalupe, the outgoing CEO of Hublot, will move into an honorary president role.
Frédéric Arnault, CEO of LVMH Watches, expressed gratitude for Guadalupe’s 20-year tenure at Hublot, highlighting his contributions to the brand’s innovative approach to design and communication. Arnault noted that Tornare’s leadership at Hublot signals a new chapter focused on the future and reinforcing the brand’s unique market position.
Antoine Pin, currently the general manager of Bulgari Horlogerie, will replace Julien Tornare as CEO of TAG Heuer. These leadership changes follow Frédéric Arnault’s appointment as CEO of LVMH’s watch division earlier this year. Arnault, at 28, is the second-youngest of chairman Bernard Arnault’s five children and has been leading TAG Heuer since 2020.
Swiss watch brands are preparing for a potential market slowdown after experiencing a surge in sales post-pandemic. Despite an unexpected rise in the industry’s April exports, declining sales in May suggest the anticipated downturn may be on the horizon.
