Voxeljet AG Announces Leadership Transition and Generational Shift
Voxeljet AG is undergoing a significant reorganization in its senior management as part of a generational change. Dr. Ingo Ederer, the founder of Voxeljet, will conclude his tenure as CEO and member of the Management Board on June 30, 2024. Post-tenure, Dr. Ederer will remain available in an advisory role to facilitate a seamless transition.
Rudolf Franz, who has served as Chief Financial Officer, will step into the role of CEO, leading the company alongside an extended management team. Franz expressed gratitude for Dr. Ederer’s two decades of collaboration and looks forward to his continued support during the transition period.
Despite being delisted from NASDAQ in the second quarter of this year, Voxeljet AG continues to demonstrate strong performance in terms of machine sales and revenue growth. Dr. Ederer highlighted the company’s successful 25-year history, noting that the past year was the most successful in Voxeljet’s history, attributing this achievement to the dedication and hard work of the entire team.
The Supervisory Board extended its appreciation to Dr. Ederer for his unwavering commitment and pivotal role in establishing Voxeljet as a leading provider of 3D printing technologies. The Board also endorsed Rudolf Franz’s appointment as the next CEO, confident in his comprehensive understanding of Voxeljet’s technologies, markets, and strategic vision to drive the company’s global business growth.
As Voxeljet AG embarks on this new chapter, the company aims to continue its growth trajectory, leveraging the leadership and expertise of its management team to navigate the evolving landscape of 3D printing technologies.
