Leadership Overhaul for IPC with Kurt Adams in the Role of CEO
IPC, a US-based SaaS trading communications platform, has announced significant leadership changes, appointing industry veteran Kurt Adams as the new CEO. Adams succeeds Bob Santella, who has held the position for the past six years.
Adams brings over 25 years of fintech leadership experience, having previously served as CEO of Optum Financial and as head of corporate payments at Fleetcor Technologies, where he also held the position of group president. His extensive career includes leadership roles at Elavon Financial Services, ABN Amro Bank, Piper Sandler, and U.S. Bank.
In addition to Adams’s appointment, IPC has named two new board members. Stuart Harvey, former CEO of Elavon Global Acquiring, will serve as chairman of IPC’s board of directors, while Michael Chin, CEO of London-based fintech Duco, joins as a board member. These changes follow Strategic Value Partners (SVP) taking full control of IPC four months ago.
Jonathan Waggoner, managing director at SVP, commented on the CEO transition, noting that with SVP now the sole owner of IPC, it is an ideal time for Santella to hand over leadership to Adams, who is well-equipped to guide IPC through its next growth phase.
