Craig Buck Assumes CEO Role at Converge US
Lightstone and Converge RE II have announced a significant development in their leadership team, appointing Craig Buck as the Chief Executive Officer of Converge US, effective May 1, 2024. With over 30 years of experience as an insurance industry executive, Buck is poised to lead Converge towards achieving its strategic growth objectives while ensuring the seamless operation of the firm on a day-to-day basis.
Craig Buck brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having held various leadership positions throughout his illustrious career. He previously served as the Managing Principal of the Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services practice at Ernst & Young (EY) LLP’s Financial Services organization. Prior to EY, Buck held leadership roles at a major international insurance and retirement company. Additionally, he served as the Americas Life Insurance Practice Leader and the North American Actuarial Practice Leader at Towers Watson, Inc. and Watson Wyatt Insurance & Financial Services, Inc., respectively.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Converge RE, Mitchell Hochberg, expressed confidence in Buck’s capabilities, highlighting his vast industry experience as instrumental in guiding Converge’s continued growth. Hochberg welcomed Buck to the team and expressed anticipation for his leadership and the company’s continued success.
