Gucci Enlists Louis Vuitton Executive Stefano Cantino to Bolster Leadership Team

His appointment will commence on May 2. He will collaborate closely with Jean-François Palus, president and CEO of Gucci, alongside Francesca Bellettini, Kering’s deputy CEO overseeing brand development.
Cantino’s elevation to this newly established role, reporting directly to Palus, follows the recent tenure of Scott McReaken at Gucci. McReaken’s exit alongside creative director Alessandro Michele set the stage for a new era under Valentino alum Sabato De Sarno.
Palus expressed enthusiasm about Cantino’s extensive industry experience and strategic acumen, highlighting his pivotal role in implementing Gucci’s action plans across the business.
