LagardèreAWPL Appoints Costa Kouros to Serve as CEO

In a significant shift in leadership dynamics, LagardèreAWPL bids farewell to Przemek Lesniak, Co-CEO, marking the denouement of his remarkable 23-year journey with the Lagardère Travel Retail group. Lesniak, who steered the Pacific arm of the organization for seven illustrious years, leaves behind a legacy of dedication and innovation.

Costa Kouros, Lesniak’s erstwhile counterpart, assumes the mantle of sole CEO, consolidating the reins of the joint venture retailer born from the fusion of Lagardère Travel Retail Pacific and Kouros-led Australian travel retailer AWPL in May 2022.

Lesniak’s trajectory within Lagardère Travel Retail spans continents, from pivotal roles in Poland and France to his eventual stewardship in the Pacific region since 2016. Reflecting on his tenure, Lesniak expressed gratitude for the enriching experiences, diverse collaborations, and the transformative impact he had the privilege to impart.
