Transgene Appoints Lucie Larguier as CFO and Elevates Christelle Schwoerer to CHRO
Transgene (Euronext Paris: TNG) has announced the appointment of Lucie Larguier as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Lucie, formerly VP of Corporate Communication and Investor Relations at Transgene, assumes responsibility for the Company’s financial strategy, management, and operations to drive the efficient delivery of its innovative immunotherapy pipeline. She succeeds Arnaud Dubarry, who has transitioned to pursue new opportunities.
As a member of the executive management committee, Lucie brings a wealth of experience and a comprehensive understanding of Transgene’s operations and finances. With a decade-long tenure in consultancy, advising companies on corporate and financial communications, Lucie has been instrumental in the execution of successful securities transactions and enhancing Transgene’s external visibility. A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po), Lucie holds a Master’s degree in Communication with a minor in finance.
In tandem with Lucie’s appointment, Transgene has promoted Christelle Schwoerer to Chief Human Resources Officer, effective April 1, 2024, also joining the Executive Committee. With over a decade of experience in Transgene’s Human Resources department, Christelle’s profound understanding of the organization’s culture and employees positions her well for her expanded role. She holds Master’s degrees in human resources from CNAM Grand-Est and management and human resources from the Ecole de Management de Strasbourg.
Alessandro Riva, MD, Chairman and CEO of Transgene, lauded Lucie’s appointment, citing her invaluable contributions to the Company’s success and alignment with its culture.
