Webster Financial Corporation In Search of a New CFO as Glenn MacInnes Retires

Webster Financial Corporation (NYSE: WBS) has announced the retirement of Glenn MacInnes from his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer after 13 years with the company. Mr. MacInnes will continue to serve as CFO until a successor is appointed by Webster’s Board of Directors, after which he will transition to an advisory role to facilitate a seamless handover.

Webster has initiated a thorough search process to identify MacInnes’ successor, considering both external candidates and internal talent. Spencer Stuart, a renowned executive search firm, has been engaged to support the search efforts, ensuring the selection of a qualified and capable individual to lead Webster’s financial operations.

MacInnes reflected on his tenure at Webster, highlighting the company’s transformation and evolution into a leading commercial bank with a focus on digital innovation and client-centric services.
