René Olsthoorn Succeeds Boels Rental’s CFO Jan Piet Valk, Who Becomes Chairman
Jan Piet Valk, the current Chief Financial Officer of Dutch multinational Boels Rental, founded in 1977, is set to transition to a new role after a successful four-year tenure. Come September, Valk will ascend to the chairmanship of the group’s supervisory board, marking a pivotal shift in his journey with Boels Rental.
During the interim period leading to his new appointment, Valk will entrust his current responsibilities to René Olsthoorn, who is slated to join the company at the end of the month. Olsthoorn, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Timber and Building Supplies (TABS) Holland, brings over two decades of diverse experience in the industry.

Pierre Boels, Chief Executive of Boels Rental, acknowledged Valk’s instrumental role in the organization’s growth and professionalization, highlighting his pivotal contributions to key projects and strategic initiatives, including successful acquisitions and refinancing endeavors.
