Sennder Welcomes Susanne Schroeter-Crossan in the CFO Position
European digital road freight forwarder Sennder has announced the appointment of Susanne Schroeter-Crossan as its new Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Amir Avraham, who has diligently nurtured the department over the past five years.
With a distinguished career encompassing pivotal roles at renowned financial institutions and listed companies such as Zalando, HelloFresh, and LEG Immobilien, Ms. Schroeter-Crossan brings a wealth of expertise in financial management alongside a deep understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and corporate governance.
During her tenure, she served as the Chairwoman of the Diversity & Inclusion and Sustainability Committee at Zalando, was a member of the ESG Committee at HelloFresh, and played a crucial role on the ESG Steering Committee of LEG Immobilien.
David Nothacker, CEO of Sennder, welcomed Susanne and praised her extensive experience in diverse industries. He also extended his heartfelt gratitude to Amir Avraham for his invaluable contributions.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Ms. Schroeter-Crossan remarked that she wants to leverage her ESG expertise to tackle the challenges prevalent in the fragmented FTL (Full Truck Load) industry, characterized by inefficiencies such as excessive empty kilometers, an aging driver demographic, and escalating demands on drivers.
