Marex Welcomes John Pietrowicz from CME Group to the Group Board

Marex has appointed John Pietrowicz to its Group Board. Pietrowicz, formerly the Chief Financial Officer at CME Group, brings a wealth of experience in financial markets and regulatory oversight to his new role.

As the Former CFO of CME Group, Pietrowicz was instrumental in overseeing the financial strategy of the derivatives exchanges globally. His responsibilities encompassed various functions, including corporate finance, accounting, investor relations, and treasury management.

According to a statement by the company, Pietrowicz’s expertise in corporate finance, accounting, and mergers and acquisitions is valuable in navigating complex market dynamics and regulatory requirements.

Prior to his role as the CFO, Pietrowicz led corporate development and mergers and acquisitions initiatives at CME Group, enhancing his strategic acumen and deal-making prowess.

Recently, Marex’s Non-Executive Director, Sarah Ing, was appointed as the Non-Executive Director of City of London Investment Group PLC. The seasoned professional has over three decades of experience.

Ing’s appointment to the Board of the City of London Investment Group marked a significant milestone in her illustrious career. She has a track record spanning reputable organizations like HSBC and UBS. Notably, she founded and led a successful hedge fund investment management business, Finance Magnates reported.
