Aurora Swithenbank is the New EVP and CFO of NMI Holdings

NMI Holdings has appointed Aurora Swithenbank as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective May 1, 2024. Swithenbank’s appointment follows the tenure of Ravi Mallela, who has served as CFO since 2022 and will facilitate a seamless transition before assuming another role within the company.

Swithenbank brings extensive industry experience to her new role, previously serving as CFO at Vantage Group Holdings Ltd., a Bermuda-based specialty re/insurance group, where she orchestrated the restructuring of the finance department. Prior to her time at Vantage, she spent over two decades at Goldman Sachs, culminating in her role as a Partner and Head of Insurance in the Americas Financing Group.

Adam Pollitzer, President and Chief Executive Officer of National MI, expressed enthusiasm about Swithenbank’s appointment, highlighting her exceptional leadership track record in both the banking and insurance sectors. Pollitzer anticipates Swithenbank’s contributions to furthering National MI’s innovative solutions for customers and borrowers, as well as executing long-term growth and capital strategies to enhance shareholder value.
