Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe Welcomes New President and CEO
Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe (HCME) has announced the appointment of Francesco Quaranta as its new President and CEO, effective April 1, 2024. Quaranta takes over the reins from Takaharu Ikeda, who transitions to the role of Chairman of the Management Board at HCME and HCM Regional General Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa (EMEA).
With over 20 years of international experience in the machinery sector, Quaranta brings a wealth of expertise to HCME, having held key roles in strategic marketing and as a profit and loss owner. His educational background includes an MBA in Operations Management and Finance from the Weatherhead School of Management in the USA, an Economics degree from the University of Turin, and a Certification in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
The appointment of Quaranta marks a significant milestone for HCME, signaling a commitment to advancing technological innovations and enhancing customer satisfaction under his leadership.
