MAN Truck & Bus Announces Executive Leadership Transitions
MAN Truck & Bus’s Supervisory Board has extended the contract of Inka Koljonen, Executive Board member for Finance, IT, and Legal Affairs, for an additional five years until 2030, effective February 1, 2025. Additionally, Hubert Altschäffl has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer of MAN Truck & Bus, effective April 1, 2024.
Inka Koljonen, a Finnish citizen, has served as an Executive Board member at MAN Truck & Bus SE since February 2022. Prior to joining MAN, she held various executive roles at commercial vehicle supplier SAF Holland, where she oversaw Accounting & Controlling, Financing & Treasury, IT, and Legal functions. Koljonen’s leadership has been instrumental, notably during critical times such as the recent war in Ukraine, where her swift action program minimized economic damage during the production halt.
Hubert Altschäffl, appointed as the new CHRO, brings extensive experience to his role, having previously worked within the TRATON GROUP holding company and possessing in-depth knowledge of MAN Truck & Bus. His return to MAN is welcomed as he is expected to play a vital role in steering the company’s structural and personnel transformation toward providing sustainable transport solutions.
Vlaskamp expressed enthusiasm for Altschäffl’s return, highlighting his familiarity with the company and his potential to drive positive change amid MAN’s evolution. The appointments of Koljonen and Altschäffl underscore MAN Truck & Bus’s commitment to strategic leadership and organizational excellence as it navigates future challenges and opportunities in the transportation industry.
MAN CEO Alexander Vlaskamp commended Koljonen for her decisive actions and strategic initiatives, which have significantly contributed to MAN’s ongoing transformation and resilience. He expressed gratitude to Koljonen and her team for their accomplishments and anticipates their continued collaboration in driving MAN’s success.
