As of February 6, 2024, Barnard Arnault was the wealthiest person in France, with an estimated net worth of 212.1 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Francoise Bettencourt (No. 2, $99.5 billion), Gerard Wertheimer (No. 3, $36.4 billion); and Alain Wertheimer (No. 4, $36.4 billion).

Francois Pinault is the fifth-richest person in France, with a whopping $29.4 billion. Emmanuel Besnier ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $25.3 billion, followed by Nicolas Puech with $13.5 billion. Vincent Bollore & family is placed 8th with a net worth of $9.9 billion. Jacques Saade ($9.8 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in France.
