Manitou Appoints Céline Brard as CFO

Manitou has announced the appointment of Céline Brard as Chief Financial Officer and Hervé Rochet as Chief Transformation & Governance Officer. Both Brard and Rochet will join the Executive Committee alongside Chief Executive Michel Denis and other key executives responsible for various divisions and functions.

Brard brings nearly 25 years of experience from Valeo, a prominent automotive parts supplier, where she held various financial roles, including Financial Director for Valeo Wiper Systems. Her extensive tenure at Valeo, which began in 1999, encompassed diverse geographic assignments, including stints in Tunisia, Morocco, and Japan. Brard’s background as an external auditor for KPMG before joining Valeo underscores her robust financial expertise.

Meanwhile, Rochet, who previously served as Corporate Secretary and CFO since 2014, transitions into the role of Chief Transformation & Governance Officer. In this capacity, Rochet will spearhead Manitou’s efforts to accelerate its transformation, addressing digital, human, and reputational challenges while upholding the integrity of its governance framework.

Michel Denis emphasized the importance of adapting the organizational structure to support Manitou’s growth trajectory and address evolving sustainability challenges. He underscored the need to bolster strategic and financial management while accelerating transformation efforts to meet the changing needs of society and stakeholders.

Denis’s vision aligns with Manitou’s commitment to driving efficient growth and fostering positive societal impact, positioning the company for continued success in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
