Complete Restructure of the Leadership Team at DSV

DSV has initiated the new year with a series of high-level executive changes. Jens Lund steps into the role of group CEO at the Danish logistics powerhouse, DSV, succeeding Jens Bjørn Andersen, while Brian Ejsing assumes the position of Chief Operations Officer. Lund officially assumes the CEO position on February 1.

Morten Landry is appointed as the new Group Chief Commercial Officer, succeeding Rene Falch Olesen, who departs after a remarkable tenure spanning over four decades with DSV. Olesen’s journey began with DanTransport, which was later acquired by DSV in 2000.

Andersen served as CEO for an impressive 15-year tenure. Thomas Plenborg, Chairman of DSV’s board of directors, extends gratitude to Andersen for his invaluable contributions to the company over the years.

Brian Ejsing, formerly CEO of DSV Solutions since 2012, assumes the role of group COO, succeeding Lund. Ejsing brings a wealth of experience, having joined DSV as a freight forwarder in 1986. The DSV executive board, effective February 1, 2024, comprises Lund, Ejsing, and Chief Financial Officer Michael Ebbe.

In addition to these changes, new appointments are announced within DSV Solutions and DSV Air & Sea. Albert-Derk Bruin steps into the role of CEO of DSV Solutions, transitioning from his prior position as Executive Vice President for business strategy, excellence, and change management. Frank Sobotka is set to assume the CEO role of DSV Air & Sea from May 1, succeeding Carsten Trolle, who leaves after nearly four decades with DSV and nine years leading the Air & Sea division.

Lund welcomes Ejsing to the executive board, expressing confidence in his ability to optimize processes and the global network. He also extends congratulations to Sobotka, Bruin, and Landry on their new roles, highlighting a commitment to collaboration and the continued growth of DSV.
