As of January 8, 2024, Zhong Shanshan was the wealthiest person in China, with an estimated net worth of 64.0 billion U.S. dollars, followed by  Colin Zheng Huang (No. 2, $51.6 billion), Zhang Yiming (No. 3, $43.4 billion); and Ma Huateng (No. 4, $31.8 billion).

William Ding is the fifth-richest person in China, with a whopping $29.2 billion. Jack Ma ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $24.5 billion, followed by He Xiangjian with $22.1 billion. Qin Yinglin is placed 8th with a net worth of $15.6 billion. Eric Li ($14.6 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in China.
