Saurabh Goel Replaces Ajay Kalra as Coforge CFO
Ajay Kalra stepped down as the Chief Financial Officer of the IT firm Coforge Ltd, citing prior commitments and personal reasons. This move precedes the company’s Q3 results set to be released on January 22.
Coforge confirmed that Kalra, despite resigning from the CFO role, will remain a full-time employee and a Senior Advisor until July 10, 2024, while Saurabh Goel assumes the position of CFO and key managerial personnel (KMP) starting from January 5, 2024.
Kalra mentioned personal reasons and a desire to explore new opportunities as the cause for stepping down from the CFO position, emphasizing his intention to stay on as an advisory employee until July 10.
Regarding Goel, he previously served as Deputy CFO and Executive Vice President at Coforge, overseeing various crucial areas such as investor relations, pricing, contracting, business finance, audit, investment programs, and corporate treasury. With thirteen years at Coforge and a total of nineteen years in finance, Goel has been an integral part of the firm’s inorganic strategy implementation and successful post-merger integrations.
