Inspired Entertainment is in Search of its next CFO as Stewart F.B. Baker Resigns

Inspired Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: INSE), a prominent B2B provider of gaming content, technology, hardware, and services, has announced the appointment of Marilyn Jentzen as Interim CFO and Principal Accounting Officer. This comes as Stewart F.B. Baker resigns from his role as CFO and Principal Accounting Officer, effective December 20, 2023.

The Board of Directors has initiated a search for the next CFO and has engaged a leading search firm to evaluate both internal and external candidates. Mr. Baker will continue assisting the Company throughout 2024, aiding in its restatement efforts and ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities.

With operations in around 35 jurisdictions globally, Inspired supplies gaming systems, associated terminals, and content for approximately 50,000 gaming machines in various locations, virtual sports products at over 32,000 retail venues and online platforms, interactive games across 170+ websites, and a range of amusement entertainment solutions with over 16,000 installed terminals.

Bringing more than thirty years of financial and accounting expertise to Inspired, Ms. Jentzen is recognized for her accounting proficiency, strong leadership, and strategic acumen. She will oversee the Company’s financial policies, manage finance and accounting functions, and ensure adherence to financial and accounting regulations.

Ms. Jentzen previously served as the Founder and CEO of Innovative Impact Consulting, offering global business transformation consulting and interim C-level support for publicly listed and private clients. Her previous roles include Senior Vice President, Finance at International Game Technology, Inc., overseeing global accounting, tax, and internal audit functions. She also spearheaded operations strategy for global centers at Thomson Reuters across Asia, India, Europe, and Latin America. Ms. Jentzen began her career at Deloitte LLP. She holds a BS from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, concentrating in accounting and operations.
