As of December 14, 2023, Zhong Shanshan was the wealthiest person in China, with an estimated net worth of 62.8 billion U.S. dollars, followed by  Colin Zheng Huang (No. 2, $51.6 billion), Zhang Yiming (No. 3, $43.4 billion); and William Ding (No. 4, $33.8 billion).

Ma Huateng is the fifth-richest person in China, with a whopping $33.4 billion. Jack Ma ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $24.3 billion, followed by He Xiangjian with $21.1 billion. Qin Yinglin is placed 8th with a net worth of $15.7 billion. Wang Wei ($14.8 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in China.
