Study: These are the Most Popular Tourist Attractions of America
The United States boasts an impressive number of museums, state parks, national park sites, and amusement parks, estimated to be around 35,000, thousands, hundreds, and more than 600, respectively. With so many options to choose from, it may be challenging to decide which ones to visit. However, some attractions are undoubtedly more well-liked than others. To determine the most preferred American tourist attractions, CEOWOLRD magazine examined ‘The Most Popular Tourist Attractions’ study by YouGov, an international market and data analytics website, published in 2023. The study ranked various tourist attractions based on their fame and popularity, which was determined by the percentage of survey participants who expressed a positive opinion of the attraction.
The list of popular attractions includes theme parks, monuments, museums, and natural wonders. Surprisingly, Disneyland and some other Disney theme parks, despite their fame, are not very popular, with a popularity score of less than 60%. Therefore, they are not included in this list. Some architectural masterpieces like the Golden Gate Bridge and the Empire State Building attract millions of visitors each year. Additionally, national parks such as the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Glacier, and Yellowstone are among the top ten most popular attractions, attracting millions of visitors annually.
