Abra Group, the holding company overseeing Avianca and GOL airlines, revealed its decision to appoint Adrian Neuhauser, the current CEO of Avianca, as the CEO of the holding company. This announcement was made by Abra on Tuesday.
Concurrently, Frederico Pedreira will assume the role of CEO and President of Avianca, succeeding Neuhauser. These transitions are slated to commence in January 2024.
Neuhauser, who initially joined Avianca as CFO in 2019, will maintain his position as executive vice chairman of Avianca. Meanwhile, Pedreira, who took on the role of deputy CEO of Avianca in September, previously served as the chief operating officer since 2021.
